August-Alsina

If you spent last night on Twitter (like most of the world when they have a little down time), then you noticed R&B crooner August Alsina sent out some pretty disgruntled tweets to his label, Def Jam, about their decision to “leak” his album the day before its release.

While the tweets may have caught many off guard, August stopped by Power 105’s The Breakfast Club to stand by his comments and express his sense of frustration with the label and the mistake made dealing with the release of the album. Acknowledging that mistakes are made all the time – because he has made plenty – he goes on to state that he just wants Def Jam to own up to their fault in this case. Chalking it up as This Thing Called Life,  he makes note that his God is too big for this mishap to not have something positive stem from it.

Going on to further discuss the blood, sweat, and tears poured into the album, the current relationship with his mother, fronting in the industry, the future of his career, and more, you’re alway guaranteed to a interesting listen when August is set for an interview.
