With just a week away from the release of his fifth studio album, the talented Anthony Hamilton felt it was time to let us know just how he’s feeling.

Delivering the title track, “What I’m Feelin’,” Anthony gives us his traditional soul-filled lyrics accompanied by a production reminiscent of some of your parents favorite jams. Featuring his background vocalists The HamilTones, the vintage sounding track takes us back to the years of Marvin Gaye, The Chi-Lites, The Delfonics and more.

Cooing out, “Tell me what you’re feelin’ / Tell me what you’re feelin’ / Are you afraid of what we’re building? / Tell me what you’re feelin’,” there’s no denying the feeling of true R&B and Soul that’s delivered in this track.

Serving as simply a precursor to what we can expect from the album, Anthony had this to say about the album: “What I’m Feelin’ is a special album for me. I reconnected with one of my favorite producers Mark Batson for this new album, who produced my most career defining records, so it made sense. Alongside my engineer, Bruce Irvine, we all decided to record in Nashville, so we could really focus on creating a special sound…I’m really proud of this album, I think it is a must have for R&B and Soul lovers.”

The title track follows the release of January’s lead single “Amen” and pre-order for the album is now available on iTunes.
