Exclusive: Timothy Bloom Covers “Turn Your Lights Down Low” and “Silent Night” Acoustic on ThisisRnB Sessions

By

ThisisRnB Sessions has returned with an intimate performance from the very talented Timothy Bloom! If you missed the first video from his session, performing an exceptional acoustic version of his new song “Me & Myself,” you can watch it here.

Continuing with more footage from his performance, we bring you the singer/songwriter’s must-see acoustic cover of Bob Marley’s classic “Turn Your Lights Down Low.” Seated alone with just his guitar in The Bunker Studios in Brooklyn, NY, Bloom’s rendition is outstanding, highlighted by his incredible vocals.

In addition, for a special holiday treat, Tim sang a short rendition of the Christmas classic “Silent Night,” also with just a single acoustic guitar, for a subtle and aurally pleasing experience.

First captivating our ears in 2011 with his soulful duet single “Til the End of Time” with V. Bozeman, the gifted singer/songwriter/musician has seen the best and worst sides of the music business, but has continued to deliver great material.

Currently taking the independent route, Bloom returned this past October with a new EP titled, The Beginning, which is the first piece of his Life Trilogy project that will continue through 2017. Steeped in classic soul and blues, the EP has continued to excel his trajectory into the ears of R&B and Soul music fans, while assuring previous listeners that Timothy Bloom can not be placed into a box.

Check out his covers of “Turn Your Lights Down Low” and “Silent Night” below.
