Janet Jackson is feeling free.
It surely appears that way, since the news of her divorce hit the internets she has decided it’s the right time to step out in the public with her son, and on Friday night she shared an adorable photo of 3-month-old, Eissa.
Posting a sweet close up shot of her kissing him while he yawns, Janet captioned the photo, “My baby and me after nap time.”
Earlier in the week, paparazzi photos of Jackson walking him in a London park surfaced, and even caused some humorous memes.
Last weekend, it was reported by Page Six that Janet was filing for divorce from her husband Wissam Al Mana after 5 years of marriage, and only a few months after giving birth to their first child.
Allegedly, Mana has been extremely controlling over Janet and her parenting. “She thought he had become too controlling during the pregnancy and she had already allowed him to dictate her appearance and even the way she performed at concerts,” a source told the outlet.
The alleged insider revealed that Wissam wanted the superstar to wear less revealing outfits and stop doing sexual dance moves in music videos. These demands would apparently drive Jackson crazy, and made her feel like she was losing herself and not staying true to her fan base.
The divorce is said to be amicable and Janet appears to be very happy with her new bundle of joy, and finally sharing motherhood with the public.
