Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Pharrell, and The Roots are among the artists who are joining forces for the “A Concert for Charlottesville: An Evening of Music and Unity.”

Set to take place Sept. 24 at UVA Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, VA, the benefit concert will be led by Dave Matthews Band in the group’s hometown and it will feature Chris Stapleton, Brittany Howard, Cage the Elephant, and other special guests.

Tickets for the event are free, but attendees are urged to donate to the “Concert for Charlottesville Fund” at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation. Proceeds are set to help the victims of this year’s violent Charlottesville rally, where white supremacists clashed with anti-racist protesters. This includes families, first responders, and organizations meant to promote justice.

Shortly after the Charlottesville controversy made news, Pharrell quoted Heather Heyer, an anti-racism activist who died in Charlottesville, on Instagram. “If you’re not outraged, you’re not paying attention,” he wrote.

Tickets will first become available to UVA students/staff and individuals residing in Charlottesville and the adjacent counties (Albemarle, Augusta, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, Orange, and Rockingham).

After that, the tickets will be made available to individuals in the remaining counties of Virginia. Finally, if any are left, they will become available to people outside of Virginia. See additional information through the Concert for Charlottesville website.
