In an evening that was filled with a lot of ballads, DJ Khaled brought one of the more colorful moments to the 60th GRAMMY Awards on Sunday nignt. Accompanied by a show-stealing Rihanna and a suave Bryson Tiller, the trio ran through their summer 17 smash “Wild Thoughts.”

Khaled opened the set with one of his famous motivational speeches. “I worked my whole life for this,” he said. “All I ever wanted was to have an opportunity. They said I would never perform at the Grammys. They played themselves.”

RiRi took it from there, making her entrance while dancing through the neon-colored set with conviction, while singing the seductive lyrics. Backed by a team of dancers representing various different eras, Pen Griffey popped up to complete the duet in front of the Madison Square Garden crowd.

By the time she hit the stage, Rihanna was already a winner, taking home Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “LOYALTY.” with Kendrick Lamar.
