The XO family is growing as The Weeknd as signed buzzing Montreal R&B crooner Black Atlass.
The singer, who previously starred in the video for The Weeknd’s “Secrets,” just released his new single “My Life” under XO Records/Republic.
“My Life” features the atmospheric R&B that Abel has been celebrated for in the past. “This is my life,” sings Atlass. “Living on the edge of a dream / Living on the other side of the screen.”
They also unleashed an accompanying video for the single, which features a lingerie-clad model and Los Angeles scenery. The vintage-styled clip also finds the crooner singing in an empty theater, laying in bed, and getting scarred up and bloody.
Also known as Alex Fleming, the multifaceted artist has appeared as a model in The Weeknd’s Puma XO ads in the past, along with campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, and Alexander Wang.
