Exclusive: Janelle Monáe Performs in Paris at La Grande Halle de la Villette

By

This past week, Janelle Monáe brought her ‘Dirty Computer’ to France for her first show in the country in 4 years. The sold-out performance took place at La Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris, for the European leg of her “Dirty Computer Tour.”

Backed by her full band along with a DJ and four dancers, the incomparable performer delivered a riveting and enticing set as she always does. Focusing on her latest work, Monáe performed cuts off her new album including “Crazy Classic Life,” “Screwed,” “Make Me Feel,” “PYNK,” “I Like That” and “Django Jane.” But, it wouldn’t be a proper Wondaland show without many of her past classics and favorites including, “QUEEN,” Yoga” and “Tightrope.”

At the end of the show, Janelle left the Parisian audience with a strong, love-themed political message as she exited the stage to a roaring applause.
