Jessie Reyez recently sat down with Billboard for a series titled ‘Growing Up Latino.’
The buzzing songstress, who recently announced her upcoming “Being Human On Tour” shared many of her happiest memories growing up in her family and reflects on being Latino in Canada.
As Colombian immigrants it’s no surprise that Reyez has strong feelings about the current state of immigration in America. While discussing the horror of family separation she tears up and explains how it feels being on that side and wishes people would speak up more about it.
Reyez is currently prepping for the release of her anticipated new EP, ‘Being Human in Public.’
