Emerging Soul and R&B artist Ruben Young makes his debut on ThisIsRnB with the new single “Colors.”
Serving as the lead single from his upcoming EP “Dreamstate,” “Colors” describes a type of love that is so intense that it’s almost as if you can see it and feel it in the physical. A type of love that no matter what goes on around the two of you, everything is fine as long as you have each other.
Singing out “Colors / I wanna see inside your head / I gotta taste that cherry red,” Young makes an impressive electro-R&B crossover with his latest release. Falling into a similar line as his previous releases such as the popular single “Rachel Green,” the talented crooner is setting his own standards and creating his own lane when it comes to the sound of R&B.
Backed by an instrumentation as colorful as the song’s title suggests, this new single is worth a listen to get your week going in the right direction.
