Brandy Reveals Title & Cover Art For Seventh Studio Album

By

It’s been a long wait for fans of Brandy, but it seems as if it’s finally come to end. Taking to her Instagram last night (September 23), “The Vocal Bible” let fans know that her new album is on the way and it’ll be here sooner than you think.

Titled Freedom Rings, the new album is set to arrive seven years after her last offering, Two Eleven. Created to reflect an oil portrait of the star, the album cover also indicates that it will be released this year as it is the 25th year anniversary of the release for her self-titled debut album. And while we don’t have an official date to expect Freedom Rings, we suspect that it will be very, very soon.

The album is led by the Daniel Caesar-featured single “Love Again,” which arrived this summer. Prior to the release of that song, however, fans hadn’t heard Brandy on a track since 2016’s powerful “Beggin & Pleadin,” which peaked at the top spot on Billboard’s Blues Digital Songs chart. And while fans expected to hear her on Fantasia‘s upcoming Sketchbook album through a collaboration also with Jazmin Sullivan, things have since changed and we’ll have to wait a little longer before we receive the offering.

Though no the info regarding Freedom Rings has been offered up, if you need your Brandy fix, check out the 10 songs that prove why she deserves the title of “The Vocal Bible” as a holdover.
