Deborah Cox - Easy Way

Deborah Cox Drops Video For “Easy Way”

By

R&B songstress Deborah Cox returns with an accompanying music video for her latest single “Easy Way.” The Grammy-nominated artist, elegantly dressed, sings about the hardships of love in a cold, barren-looking home in the visual.

Cox first told us there was no “Easy Way” to love after dropping the track in November. Now the video, directed by Parris (who’s worked with Lil Wayne, Cee Lo Green, Enrique Iglesias, and Rick Ross), divulges the distance between Cox and her love interest. But neither leaves the home, despite the message of it being easy to give up.

“Easy way to leave, easy way to go, easy way to run straight up out that door / Easy way to quit, there’s an easy way of giving up / There’s no easy way to stay when it hurts so much, especially when you think you’ve had enough / Ain’t no easy way to love, love, love.”

Accomplished hit-maker Rico Love co-produced and penned “Easy Way.” It’s the first single from Cox’s forthcoming studio album, a return from her last project, “The Promise,” back in 2008.
