New Music: Tatiana Scott – “IDCU (I Don’t Choose You)”

By

R&B newcomer Tatiana Scott is delivering a soulful reminder that choosing yourself is always the best option. Releasing the guitar laced single “IDCU (I Don’t Choose You),” the songstress may have delivered the newest anthem for letting go.

With influences that range from Aretha Franklin to Travis Garland, the Connecticut born singer states that she never wants to become victim to one genre of music. “I just want my music to speak to the hearts of those who listen to it, I want them to be ok with their vulnerability no matter what they may be feeling at the time,” she said. And with “IDCU,” she’s done just that.

Encouraging those listening to remember their worth and choose themselves over everything else, the new release is a sultry composition of sounds. Featuring Venor Yard on guitar, Emmanuel Talton on piano, and string arrangements by the incomparable Charlie Rosen, the song is definitely one that will resonate with those listening.
