Fast-rising UK songstress Pip Millett‘s come up has been a beautiful one to witness (especially after her performance of “Make Me Cry” on COLORS) and her first release of the new year makes us even prouder. Delivering her new single “Deeper Dark,” the song is an intimate one centered around the fear of commitment in a relationship.
Equipped with a voice that draws you into her music, Millet has the ability to take you one step further with every note. Even when you think you couldn’t be more intrigued by her sound, she adds musical elements that make you get lost in the beauty of her vocals. An example of this is when she increases her vocal range after the chorus.
With a fast growing audience, a solid discography, and enchanting singles like her latest release, the R&B singer has proven to be one to watch this year. The new single comes ahead of her sophomore EP, which is due for release this upcoming April, and follows last year’s single “Ava” and the Do Well EP.
While we wait though, take a listen to “Deeper Dark” below.
