Ne-Yo has often been quite honest and shared some blunt opinions during interviews, but his most recent comment to Rolling Stone during the MTV VMA’s has got to take the cake. When discussing his forthcoming album “R.E.D.” the singer-songwriter mentioned he hopes to one day go back in to do some incredible records with Kanye and Jay-Z, and then admitted his love for Nicki Minaj…
“I’m a huge fan of Nicki Minaj, I think that we can do something great on or off . . . scratch that, don’t scratch that.” However, in a much more shocking on the record comment, when asked if Nicki’s recent sarcastic political rap line about voting for Mitt Romney would sway his feelings toward working with her, he quickly stated,
“Politics is politics. Music is a whole ‘nother thing. We don’t have to agree on politics to do a great song together,” he said. “Or possibly have wild, butt-naked sex.”
