New music from Tank is always welcomed, even if it’s the full, untagged version of a previously leaked song. The R&B vet is in full form on “Almost Done,” as he describes a moment of pure ecstasy with his lover, the steam is almost rising off the record as he lays it down. If he performed this live, their might be babies just poppin out of the audience.
Tank is currently prepping for the release of a new mixtape, titled ‘High Piano Dreams,’ which is coming soon. “We put a lot of different colors around the piano, we got a ‘trap piano,’ the bedtime piano, the emotional piano. It’s the pianos take on what this music should sound like,” he explained. “I wanted to lead with my strength, me sitting down at the piano singing to ladies.”
