Tamar Braxton, TGT, John Legend, and Fantasia Amongst Nominated Artists at 56th Annual Grammy Awards

2013 has been an amazing year for music, and the official list of nominees for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards is here to prove it!

Revealing the noms during the annual “GRAMMY Nominations Concert LIVE!!” special at the Nokia Theatre LIVE in L.A., many of the music industry’s elite were named as potential recipients for the upcoming show.

See if your favorite artist was nominated after the jump!

Amongst those nominees were R&B newcomers, TGT, Mack Wilds and Tamar Braxton as well as some past Grammy winning artists such as Alicia Keys and John Legend. Also nominated for the incredible work on her fourth studio album, Side Effects of You, was Grammy-Award winning artist, Fantasia with her first nomination since her 2010 winning “Best Female R&B Vocal Performance” track, “Bittersweet.”

Other artists who are nominated this year include powerhouse performer Justin Timberlake, Miguel, Robin Thicke, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Lorde and more, while rap artist Jay-Z is leading the race with 9 total nominations – including two in the “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration” category with wife Beyoncé, and tour mate Justin Timberlake.

Undeniably one of the best years for R&B with nominations, we are very excited to see who will be taking home a golden statue of excellence and send a huge congratulations to all nominated artists! You can catch the airing of the 56th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, January 26 live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

    I can’t believe that Brandy’s Two Eleven did not get nominated. So sad and wrong. She really needs to make the Grammy committee notice her on this next record. However I do believe that the Grammy committee is moving more in a direction where they are nominating artists who also have much more commercial success and the artists geared towards a younger audience because they know that the ratings for their show has been suffering for a LONG time.
