R&B crooner Kem released his brand new single “It’s You” last month, and he has much more in store.
The track is the first release from the Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, producers fourth studio album, ‘Promise To Love,’ which is due out soon via Motown Records. Recently shooting the music video for the single, HipHollywood was on set to talk to Kem about the anticipated release.
“With every record I get better, my artistry evolves, my songwriting evolves, the process evolves, it’s a special record,” says Kem about the new album. “I’m just really trying to express my belief in classic R&B, and tryin to represent the genre the best I can.”
Kem also revealed that he has a song with Snoop Dogg on the album called “Downtown.”
