The Weeknd kicked off his “King of the Fall” tour at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Friday night. The Canadian crooner was joined by supporting acts ScHoolboy Q and Jhené Aiko on the first date of his four-city tour.

Fresh off the release of her debut album Souled Out, Aiko warmed up the stage with her soulful songs including “Lyin King,” “Spotless Mind,” and “The Pressure,” as well as material off her EP Sail Out.

But, the sold-out crowd were anxiously awaiting the man of the night to take the stage, and he lit up the arena, delivering a seductive set that included fan favorites like “Wicked Games,” “Twenty Eight,” new single “Often,” and much more. He also performed his cover of Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love” and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Or Nah (Remix).”

The short tour will play Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on Sept. 21, L.A.’s Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 9, and San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Oct. 10.
