Mary J. Blige brought some “Therapy” to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday. Dressed in all black, the R&B queen took it to church with a stirring performance of her Sam Smith-penned single.
Her much-anticipated new album The London Sessions landed in stores today, featuring additional contributions from Disclosure, Rodney Jerkins, and Emeli Sandé. It has been embraced by critics including Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, and TIME, who wrote, “The London Sessions is proof positive that she’s still a creative force with great instincts.”
