Throwback Thursday: Keith Sweat feat. Lil’ Mo – I’ll Trade (A Million Bucks)

Keith Sweat is a R&B singer, songwriter, producer, radio personality and one of the innovators of New Jack Swing. The song “I’ll Trade (A Million Bucks)” was released as the lead single off Sweat’s seventh album, Didn’t See Me Coming, in 2000.

The single featured his then label-mate Lil’ Mo, who solely penned the song, Sweat, Barry Salter, and Jules Bartholomew are credited with the production. As a single it reached No. #34 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart.  During an interview with Billboard Sweat said, “I’ll trade whatever I have to have somebody who’s down with me for me. That person doesn’t have to have a million bucks. It pertains to anybody who has just a little something.”
