It’s always a good thing to have some new beginnings and R&B crooner Robin Thicke is definitely receiving his.

After hitting the stage at the “Steve Harvey Morning Show’ live broadcast this past weekend, the talented singer made his return to television as he gave fans and onlookers a taste of his new single “Back Together” on Wednesday’s airing of “Good Morning America.”

Dressed in a three-piece suit – which is all he seems to sport nowadays – Robin had everyone in the building up an moving as he gave an energetic performance of the new Nick Minaj-assisted single. Backed by a full band, he turned the house up and had them ready for more.

Also discussing his son Julian, minimal details about the publicized legal battle with Marvin Gaye’s estate of “Blurred Lines,” where he currently is in his life post Paula, and new music, Robin seemed to be excited to give everyone a bit of what he’s been working on. If you happen to be one of the people wondering if “Back Together” was made for Paula, the soulful singer revealed that it absolutely is not. “I didn’t write this song, so I can’t take credit for the meaning,” he said of the Max Martin and Savan Kotecha production. “It’s more about the theme of getting yourself back together with love and partnership.”
