This weekend, Monica attended and performed at the AT&T Nations Classic Kickoff Rally at Howard University. The R&B veteran blessed fans with a free concert in promotion of her forthcoming album ‘Code Red.’
Mo couldn’t complete her set without paying homage to her idol, Whitney Houston. The “Just Right For Me” singer paused the music to deliver an a cappella cover of Houston’s classic song, “You Give Good Love,” which caused the audience to join in with loud cheers and backing vocals.
