New Music: Kehlani – Already Won

Kehlani is winning!

Fresh off the Soul Train Awards and following a collection of tracks last month, including “Honey,” the Tsunami Mob boss returns with a brand new promo single, “Already Won.”

Over the slinky, synth and 808-laced track Baelani delivers confident rap/sung verses about being “unstoppable” and revels in her latest win streak.

“I got the keys to my hood / Momma say she good / Doin what I should / I already won,” she sings. “I got the world on my back, city on the map / No time to kick back.”

Later she adds: “And I think I found my grove / I’m humble but I got the juice / And I remain unstoppable, always.”

In October, Kehlani was nominated for her first American Music Award. She will face off with Beyoncé and Rihanna in the category of Favorite Female Artist – Soul/R&B during this month’s ceremony, which airs on Sunday (November 19).
