Maxwell Announces “50 Intimate Nights Live” Tour

Maxwell is coming for the fall!

The soulful crooner has officially announced his plans for the last few months of 2018 with the “50 Intimate Nights Live Tour.” The extensive 50-date trek will kick off Sept. 27 in Richmond, VA and travel all across North America making stops in Baltimore, Atlanta, Orlando, New Orleans, Memphis, Phoenix, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, and more before culminating December 9 in New York City.

Since his long awaited comeback in 2016 fans have been anxiously awaiting more new music from Maxwell, and according to the tour announcement the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer will debut new material during the intimate shows along with his many acclaimed hits and fan favorites.

Last month, Max debuted the somber, reflective song “We Never Saw It Coming.” The song’s music video, ‘The Glass House,’ is a chilling music short-film starring Maxwell and activist/actress/model Yomi Abiola. The film was written and directed by JAY-Z collaborators Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz.

A 20th anniversary reissue of Maxwell’s 1998 album Embrya will also be released this fall.

Tickets for the “50 Intimate Nights Live Tour” go on sale on Friday, July 27 via Maxwell’s official website. See the full tour itinerary below.
