6. Jeremih feat. YG – Don’t Tell ‘Em
Here was the big one for him personally. At the time, a lot of fans were wondering if and when Jeremih would have another hit single, and if his third album would still be coming out on Def Jam. It had been 4 years since his second LP, All About You, and there had been numerous delays when “Don’t Tell ‘Em” was released in 2014. The Mustard-produced single felt like an instant hit as it fell right in line with the producer’s recent hit streak. The song’s interpolation of Snap!’s 1992 single “Rhythm Is a Dancer” gave it the pop edge it needed to cross over, and it reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, while topping the Rhythmic chart, and peaking at No. 2 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart.
