On Tuesday night (Nov. 21), Daniel Caesar delivered a soulful rendition of his Freudian hit single, “Get You” for his inaugural performance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
Poised at the mic under a haze of blue and violet light, the Canadian crooner delivered another noteworthy televised performance. With his band in the shadows, he showcased his lush, honeyed vocals over the soulful live instrumentation.
“Kingdoms have fallen, angels be calling / None of that could ever make me leave,” he sings. “Every time I look into your eyes I see it / You’re all I need.”
Caesar is currently closing out his North American headlining tour, making stops in New York and Canada through December, before he takes it overseas to Germany, Sweden, France and more.
