Elijah Blake - To Be Loved

Elijah Blake Gets Vulnerable In New Visual For “To Be Loved”

By

Grammy winning singer-songwriter Elijah Blake is no stranger to laying it all out in his music and his single “To Be Loved” is no different. So as the Sean Alexander-directed visual released today, it was no surprise that it would follow the same vibe.

Crying out over a sultry and smooth beat, the singer is seen in multiple moving shots offering up his love to an absent woman who’s hesitant to move forward with him. Displaying a retro-inspired layout and with Elijah dressed down in slacks and socks for majority of the video, “To Be Loved” receives the simple, yet creative direction that it deserved. Even offering up a breakdown with French subtitles toward the end, fans of the crooner are sure to add this to the list of reasons why they love him.

“To Be Loved” is lifted from 2018’s “Bijoux 23” and serves as a predecessor to this fall’s upcoming project, “Medusa.”
