#6. Jacquees – ’19’
R&B newcomer Jacquees may be young, but he’s ready. Releasing his debut EP 19, the Atlanta native gave an impressive introduction to the sound that we will be hearing more of this year. With a massive co-sign from R&B superstar Chris Brown, Jacquees was set to do major things.
Proving that Breezy’s co-sign wasn’t in vain, Jacquees put his best foot – and voice – forward when compiling the records that encompass his debut project. Featuring single potential songs “Bet I” and “Future Baby Mama,” along with sexy bedroom jams “No Questions” and “Feel It” featuring Lloyd and Rich Homie Quan, 19 quickly became the soundtrack for a night of role playing in the sheets. – K.P.
