K. Michelle kicked off 2014 catering to her loyal fan base and delivered one of the most ambitious R&B mixtapes ever with ‘Still No F*cks Given.’ Only months after the release of her debut album, Rebellious Soul, the Memphis firecracker brought an album’s worth of quality unreleased songs, and showed how a real R&B remix should be on remakes of current hits including (“I Luv This Sh*t” and “Loyal”).
Showing her comedic side through various skits and interludes, K’s full personality was put on display as she belted out painful relationship memories, shared sexual thoughts and joked at others expense, all while still looking to do better in her life. – J.W.
