14. TANK – SEX, LOVE & PAIN II
Tank has some big shoes to fill with the anticipated follow-up to his critically acclaimed third album Sex, Love & Pain (2007). Coming off of 2014’s Stronger, and the TGT Three Kings project, the R&B General looked to return to the basics and deliver the sound and feelings that have driven his career for nearly two decades.
Lead by the Wale-assisted “You Don’t Know,” the singer-songwriter has already shared a handful of stellar cuts including the slow jams “Better For You” and R&B duet “Already In Love” with Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman, which have only helped build our hopes for the full project.
Sex, Love & Pain II is due out January 22 via Atlantic Records.
